The King and Queen of Spain inaugurate ARCOmadrid 2024

The King and Queen of Spain presided the inagurationof ARCOmadrid 2024 this afternoon at IFEMA MADRID. From 6 to 10 March, the International Contemporary Art Fair will once again take centre stage with the participation of 205 galleries from 36 countries. The proposals and content presented make Madrid the international capital of contemporary art, with the Caribbean as the central theme of analysis. Organised by IFEMA MADRID, this 43rd edition will open its doors to the general public on Friday 8 March, from 15.00h, after its first days dedicated exclusively to professionals.

The shore, the tide, the current: an oceanic Caribbean: with the presence of 19 galleries from 10 countries, this programme proposes, through a careful selection of artists and galleries, a possible reading of the complex and fertile intersection between land and sea that arises from and towards the shore.
