The ARCO GalleryWalks return in September

On the occasion of the 16th edition of Apertura Madrid Gallery Weekend, Madrid galleries and the Fundación ARCO are once again organising the ARCO GalleryWalks, which will be open to the public who wish to attend. From 17 to 20 and 24 to 27 September, guided tours to visit galleries in the districts of Carabanchel, Centro, Chamberí, Lavapiés, Letras, Salamanca, and Salesas will take place. As a new feature this year, in collaboration with Apertura, the ARCO GalleryWalks Kids will be held, designed to offer children a first contact with contemporary art.

As part of the Nit de l´Art programme – which begins on 20 September – routes will start in Palma de Mallorca, organised in collaboration with Art Palma Contemporani and supported by the Palma City Council, bringing us closer to the island’s main galleries.

The Fundación ARCO will return to Barcelona with the ARCO GalleryWalks as part of the Barcelona Gallery Weekend programme, organised by Art Barcelona. The various guided tours of the galleries in the Catalan capital will take place on 21 and 27 September and will mark the start of the exhibition season in the city.

Valencia’s artistic season will also kick off with Abierto València – from 25 September to 3 October – organised by LAVAC, which will once again host guided visits to the most important galleries in the Valencian Community from 26 September to 3 October.
