What is ARCOlisboa?
ARCOlisboa is Portugal’s leading international contemporary art fair, which in its tenth edition reaffirms Lisbon’s role as a strategic meeting point for collectors, gallerists, artists, and art professionals at an international level.
The Cordoaria Nacional will once again serve as the main venue of the fair, hosting the galleries and projects selected by the Organising Committee, together with content developed by curatorial teams.
The General Programme, the central core of the fair, will bring together national and international galleries presenting proposals distinguished by their commitment to quality and artistic excellence. In addition, ARCOlisboa will feature the Opening Lisboa section, curated by Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto, designed to promote new artistic languages and spaces, encouraging discovery and research. This edition also incorporates a special project directed by curator Cosmin Costinas, which will explore traditional knowledge within contemporary artistic practice.
ARCOlisboa will open with an exclusive day for art sector professionals, followed by access for the general public, thus reaffirming its position as a key event in the international contemporary art calendar.
