What is ARCOlisboa?
ARCOlisboa is Portugal’s leading international contemporary art fair, transforming Lisbon into a key meeting point for collectors, gallerists, artists and professionals from across the globe.
The Cordoaria Nacional once again serves as the main venue, hosting galleries and projects selected by the Organising Committee, alongside curated content from renowned curatorial teams.
The Main Programme, the core of the fair, brings together national and international galleries whose proposals stand out for their commitment to artistic quality and excellence. In addition, ARCOlisboa features two key curated sections:
- As formas do Oceano (The Shapes of the Ocean), curated by Paula Nascimento and Igor Simões, showcasing projects and artists that explore the relationships between Africa and its diaspora.
- Opening, curated by Sofía Lanusse and Diogo Pinto, highlighting new artistic languages and spaces, fostering discovery and research.
ARCOlisboa opens with a day exclusively dedicated to art professionals, followed by access for the general public, positioning itself as a must-attend event in the international contemporary art calendar.
