The history of Rivoira Giovanni & Figli began after the Second World War and continues to this day in its new state-of-the-art facilities where it works vertically: grading in the basement, packing on the first floor and storing on the second floor.
Currently, more than 70,000 tons of product are handled in its new apple warehouse. Since 2006 Rivoira Group has the exclusive right to grow and market Ambrosia apples in Europe, Russia, India, North Africa and the Middle East, with overseas exports being the main business.
Rivoira Group has just introduced the Brazilian Project, with which it intends to revolutionize the market with a super-premium offer and 12 months of coverage: "sister" varieties of extra sweet apples suitable for new hot climates, Luiza, Venice and Isadora, extra juicy, crunchy and sweet.
Kiwi Uno is one of the Rivoira family companies. It was established in 1985 and is currently a leading exporter of kiwifruit and marketer of peaches, nectarines and plums. Kiwi Uno is one of the partners of the Dorì Europe Consortium: an Italian initiative for a European project on yellow kiwifruit.
RK Growers is made up of important fruit and vegetable growers of Italian and foreign origin. It researches, selects and produces new varieties such as red kiwifruit, new varieties of berries and pluots. RK Growers supplies with its products the most important markets and supermarkets in Italy, Europe and worldwide.
Through its subsidiary AVI, RK Growers has exclusivity over the exceptional ARRA seedless grapes produced in Europe and sold all over the world.
AVI, since 2009, has held the rights to produce in Europe and market worldwide the ARRA™ seedless grape varieties. ARRA™ varieties are selected for superior flavor and high brix. They are a grape with remarkable aroma, crispness, uniform and large berries, intense coloration and optimum productivity.
