The catwalk has created a capsule collection to celebrate four decades of fashion and creativity through exclusive designs. Carlota Santos, the creator of the illustrations in collaboration with the design team at Organic Reworks, drew inspiration from elements of traditional and quintessentially Spanish imagery in the city of Madrid, Spanish fashion, and craftsmanship.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid presents the launch of its official merchandise, which will include a special collection for the 40th anniversary and a collection designed to please all fashion lovers.

MBFWMadrid, organised by IFEMA MADRID with the support of Madrid City Council, will celebrate its 40th anniversary from 17 to 21 September. To mark this milestone, the event is honouring four decades of fashion, creativity, and talent by offering its audience memorable experiences, including the launch of its official merchandise featuring special collections designed and produced by Organic Reworks, a leading brand in customised apparel. These collections are illustrated by Carlota Santos, an architect, visual artist, and writer, who has crafted a distinctive visual language characterised by great sensitivity and attention to detail.

For the designs in this collection, Carlota Santos has drawn upon elements of the traditional and quintessential imagery of Madrid, including Spanish fashion and craftsmanship, such as the carnation, fans, doves, and corals, interpreting them through classical and symmetrical compositions. The result is a kind of altarpiece in which, with all its details and elements, it celebrates Spanish tradition, craftsmanship and fashion, placing the goddess Cibeles in the centre, guarded by two sphinxes.

The 40th-anniversary collection commemorates four decades of innovation and creativity on the catwalk. In contrast, the base collection offers timeless designs for those who want to carry the essence of MBFWMadrid beyond the event. Both launches combine design, art and sustainability, reflecting the brand's commitment to conscious fashion and have been manufactured with sustainability and minimising the impact on the environment in mind, through garments made using premium quality with 100% certified organic cotton

The merchandise will be available at the official MBFWMadrid store in Cibelespacio and on the official runway website. This initiative allows fashion followers to take a piece of MBFWMadrid history with them and be part of a unique celebration.
