The fashion extravaganza has added a new day of “OFF-format” shows to be held at the Palacio de Fernán Núñez, completing a five-day line-up of shows by 30 established and ten emerging designers. The awards for National Designer and International Designer, granted by the Madrid City Council, as well as the NARS Icon Award, will be presented during the Official Opening Dinner of MBFWMadrid. At the Closing Party, following the established designers’ shows, the Mercedes-Benz Award for Best Collection, Best Model and Makeup Artist x NARS, will be presented.

The Colombian designer will inaugurate the official MBFWMadrid runway calendar on March 17 with a spectacular show at set in one of the Madrid most iconic venues.

From March 18 to 22, Madrid’s leading fashion platform returns with a new edition staged across some of the city’s most emblematic venues: Palace of Cibeles, Infanta Isabel Theatre, Palace of Fernán Núñez and IFEMA MADRID Fairground. Acclaimed designers including Juan Vidal, Teresa Helbig, JCPajares, Maison Mesa, Acromatyx, Ernesto Naranjo, and ManéMané return to the runway, while emerging names such as SEV (Sophie et Voilà) and Coosy join this season’s celebration of Spanish fashion The emerging-talent platform EGO will mark its 20th anniversary this March, reaffirming its role as a driving force behind the next generation of Spanish fashion designers.
