A special event for the great Spanish fashion show, which will be held from March 9 to 13, and which will celebrate its success by recovering 100% of its capacity

IFEMA MADRID, alongside the great community of the MBFWM, will celebrate a tribute to all those who have contributed throughout the 75 editions to illuminate creator fashion by the best designers in its history in Spain

Less than a month to go before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid celebrates its 75th edition. It will do so in a special way from March 9 to 13, organized by IFEMA MADRID with the collaboration of the City of Madrid. An event that will be marked not only by its commemorative spirit but also, after two years of restrictions, by its return to 100% capacity and the tribute that will be paid to all the relevant figures that have made the MBFWM catwalk one of the great assets of the Spanish brand.

Official calendar of the 75th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid

With an excellent roster of designers, this event counts on the participation of firms full of great recognized talent, which have been highly valued by the Fashion Committee of the Catwalk. In total, there are 34 established firms making up the official calendar of this edition (22 will parade on the Mercedes-Benz catwalk in Hall 14.1 at IFEMA MADRID, and 12 will do so in different locations in the city of Madrid). In addition, 10 young creators are part of the Allianz EGO day, which opens with the presentation of the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion award to the winner of its second edition. The closing of the day will be in charge of the guest designer of the homonymous catwalk in Prague, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Prague. In this way, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award regains its international character and continues its commitment to the exchange of talents.

The commemoration of its 75th edition will also dedicate a special remembrance to all those who have forged its history over more than 30 years, and to all designers, models and fashion personalities who have contributed to making the MBFWMadrid catwalk not only a reference of authorial creation, but a symbol of culture, and the fashion design of our country with a special remembrance of each and every one of the first brands that have starred in these 75 editions of the catwalk.

Return to 100% capacity

The return to normalcy will also be cause for celebration. A return to 100% capacity, which will expand the experience and make this 75th edition of the Catwalk even more exciting.  Thus, in response to the current health situation and the new measures recommended by the relevant agencies, this edition of MBFWMadrid returns to full capacity, maintaining measures related to interpersonal space, mandatory wearing of masks, hand washing or use of hydroalcoholic gel in order to maintain a safe situation, to which the special and technical conditions of the space and its permanent air renewal systems will contribute.

Strong support for fashion from the private sector

With the commitment of support through the sponsorship of different areas and activities, a total of 16 major brands will be present at this edition, granting a strong impetus to the celebration of this 75th edition. Mercedes-Benz, L'Oréal Paris and Inditex will again be the main sponsors; Allianz, Iberia, Royal Bliss and Mó de Multiópticas as sponsors; and Klarna, IED Madrid, GHD, Hotel Bless, Rowenta, Mar de Frades, ESNE Escuela Universitaria, Flabelus and Karma Design as collaborating firms.
