The L’Oréal Paris awards to the Best Collection and the Best Model will be announced on Saturday, 17 February, at 20.30 pm; the winner of the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion prize will be revealed at 11.00 am on Sunday, 18 February; and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award will reward talent with the event closure on Sunday, 18 February

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid will showcase collections by a total of 38 designers, with established creators gracing the catwalks from Thursday to Saturday and emerging talents taking centre stage on Allianz EGO day. They will be joined by the Desfiles en la Ciudad (Fashion Shows in the City) in venues outside IFEMA MADRID. This line-up of Spain’s best designers will provide the sponsors with an enormous choice of talent to reward and recognise.

MBFWMadrid's sponsors, L'Oréal Paris, Mercedes-Benz, and Allianz, look to MBFWMadrid to find the best national talent to reward in different ways and on different days. They will hand out four prizes from 15 to 18 February in Hall 14.1 of IFEMA MADRID’s Recinto Ferial, namely the L'Oréal Paris Award for Best Collection, L’Oréal Paris Prize to the Best Model, the Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion Prize, and the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Prize.

L’Oréal Paris

L'Oréal Paris hands out two prizes to participants at MBFWMadrid. This will be the 50th time that L’Oréal Paris has given the L'Oréal Paris Award for Best Collection, chosen from among the works presented by established designers from Thursday to Saturday at IFEMA MADRID. Meanwhile, the L’Oréal Paris Prize to the Best Model will go to the best model from those appearing from Thursday to Saturday at the Recinto Ferial. These recognitions show these firms’ commitment to the work, professionalism and quality of the collections shown on the catwalk.

Allianz

The Allianz EGO Confidence in Fashion Award, created in September 2021, will be awarded for the sixth consecutive time. This €6,000 prize aims to drive the business of one of the 15 firms showing at the Allianz EGO Showroom, helping to launch the winning designer’s brand and fund a new collection to be launched at the next edition of the Allianz EGO catwalk show in September 2024. The winner also benefits from six months of professional advice from the University of Design, Innovation and Technology (UDIT) to work on the brand. Another highlight of the show will be when Galician brand COCONUTSCANKILL, winner of the last edition of the contest, opens the Allianz EGO catwalk on Sunday, 18 February, as part of its prize.

Mercedes-Benz

The 23rd Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award is still a cornerstone for emerging designer fashion, as well as crafts, local production, and sustainability. The designers competing for this prize are Coconutscankill, Dimoni, Juan VG, Oriol Clavell, Evade House, Anystudio, Adriá Egea, Visori Studio and Peter Sposito Studio, who will present their collections to the public and to the jury. The jury will choose the winning firm, which will have the opportunity to appear on the international runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico, just like Pepa Salazar and Aitor Goikoetxea have done before them. This time, the Allianz EGO catwalk will be closed by Toronero, the guest designer from the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico catwalk talent exchange programme.
