About Silvia Tcherassi
Designer Silvia Tcherassi is considered one of the most creative and prolific figures in fashion. With over 30 years in the industry, she has showcased her unique vision on some of the world’s most important stages, including Milan and Paris, as invited by the event’s organizers. She has been awarded one of France’s highest honors, the Officier de L'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters), a distinction bestowed on leaders of the international arts community for their contribution and commitment to cultural service.
From the early start of her career, Silvia has always sought to capture a natural kind of elegance that is never forced or pretentious and in so doing, she has successfully carved out her own niche within the luxury sector. Her vision can be characterized as ‘Effortless Elegance’, the same title given to her book published by Random House in 2009. Her pieces are praised worldwide for their attention to detail and impeccable craftmanship, with an emphasis on well-executed ‘soft tailoring.’ Known for her mastery of color and texture, she works in an experimental and artistic manner, achieving a unique aesthetic that has captivated members of royal families, Hollywood stars and fashion icons.
Born on the shores of the Colombian Caribbean, she began her career as an interior designer, and yet the search for novel artistic expressions subsequently led her to fashion. Her collections include atelier, ready-to-wear and accessories. Her pieces can be found in some of the most prestigious department stores around the world as well as in her own boutiques in Europe, North America and Latin America. Tcherassi lives and works in the United States where she also has her company headquarters.

Italian architectural schools of thought and the decorative arts have continually shaped the brand's artistic perspective. Silvia Tcherassi's creative journey began in interior design—a discipline that continues to influence her fashion in both subtle and significant ways. This season, that foundation is reflected in a renewed appreciation for the minimalist brilliance of Giancarlo Piretti's iconic Plia folding and stacking chair from the late 1960s, as well as the cinematic spectacle of director Paolo Sorrentino.
Spring 2026 is viewed through the lens of fractal architecture—defined by deliberate repetition and a uniquely transcendental quality: man-made, yet inherently reflective of nature's own forms. Through these self-repeating geometries in the brand's latest proposal, complex and visually rich shapes emerge, while the silhouette retains an organic, almost sculptural presence. The technique offers a dynamic visual experience, revealing a different perspective from every angle.
This season, the brand builds on their core textiles-silk, cotton, jersey, and lace—now technically altered to create tactile experiences. Prints explore the intersection of the organic and the architectural, as each piece seems to evolve—communicating something entirely new depending on the viewer's point of view. As a collector of Italian Modernist furniture, Silvia has long drawn from the interplay of saturated hues and natural tones—a key visual reference that ultimately shaped the palette for Spring 2026. The result is a chromatic language that feels both grounded and expressive, echoing the love of contrasts that is signature to the house.
