NIMPH (from the English nymph and Spanish ninfa) is a genderless upcycling fashion project born in Barcelona and directed by the creative and designer Patty Mañá. Inspired by a world of fantasy, NIMPH explores and celebrates the richness in the imperfect and the different, focused on upcycling the old and forgotten into unique one of a kind genderless pieces. It was born in a complicated social scenario in which the market asks for responsibility, sustainability, austerity and timelessness, but it refuses to put fantasy aside.
NIMPH gives a second life to waste fabrics and second-hand clothing. It aims to transform the old and forgotten into unique garments and objects of desire. An eco-futuristic approach in which the different stories and processes are weaved together to create unique pieces in very limited quantities.
