About Malne
The Malne La Maison brand is the pioneering Spanish fashion company in Slow Fashion with author signature of the Spanish fashion scene. Its two founders, Paloma Alvarez and Juanjo Mánez, are professionals who are part of the history of fashion in our country, with extensive experience as stylists and creatives for large companies and specialized editorial titles, such as Vogue and Elle.
Since 2016, Malne La Maison has stood out for its impeccable collections, which are handcrafted in its atelier in Madrid, with haute couture techniques and materials. Their feminine silhouettes are full of personality and strength, and their shows are always a narration of the values of environmental sustainability and responsible consumption, in addition to the idealization of their own, personal and glamorous style.
Malne La Maison stands out for the good patterning of its garments, its artisanal production, piece by piece, relying on classic manufacturing and tailoring techniques, but with a high fashion, modern, unmistakable style, studied to flatter the female body. Among its most unmistakable features are its pagoda shoulder pads on the jackets, which stylize the neck and back, the bias sleeves, which achieve a graceful appearance on the arms, or its unmistakable palazzo pants.
Using high-fashion quality fabrics, Malne designers have managed to reach an audience that understands and values fashion as an art and have specialized in creating limited series and unique pieces.

Who would be Frida Kahlo in the 21st century? Starting from this premise, the creatives of the Malne La Maison brand reinvent an updated Frida, who would continue to embody the values of the famous painter, her talent, her commitment, her courage, her joy and her special beauty, which, far from physical perfection, was different and unique and marked an entire aesthetic. With such a powerful reference, Malne La Maison does not intend to recreate in detail that iconic Frida that we all know, but rather to embrace her spirit and recreate the wardrobe of a 21st century Frida, as artistic and as iconic as that of the 20th century. The collection runs through cotton and linen fabrics for sophisticated garments, with notes of corsetry, even orthopedics, like the authentic Frida, who turned her disability, caused by a serious accident, into art. And like the authentic Frida, without fear of mixing with other garments and styles, such as the feminine hand-painted silk mikado dresses, with masculine pants, or lines with necklines and sleeves typical of Mexican clothing but converted into practical and modern jumpsuits. The color palette ranges from white, dotted with handmade flowers and embroidery, through painted silk fabrics, wet-effect floral prints, and finally black, a color that for the Malne La Maison brand is a must in all its collections.
