GUEXT: solutions and services for the hospitality industry
GUEXT: The right place, the right time
GUEXT, Suppliers and Services Exhibition for the Hospitality sector, is the major professional event aimed at the Hospitality sector as a whole, held at IFEMA MADRID.
This major show, organised by IFEMA MADRID and promoted by FELAC, the Spanish Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of Machinery for the Hospitality, Collectivities and Related Industries, aims to serve as a specialised commercial and professional instrument for the promotion of the entire hospitality industry.
1st National Competition for the Best School Menu
Organised by FELAC, the 1st National Competition for the Best School Menu has been launched to recognise the talent of chefs and kitchen teams working in school catering in Spain, to promote innovation in school menus, and to position school meals as a benchmark for health, sustainability and the future of gastronomy.
Aimed at chefs from institutional catering companies and associations that provide cafeteria services to schools, the competition will award the prize for Spain’s Best School Menu.
The competition finals will be held on October 16, 2026, as part of GUEXT, where the finalist menus will be prepared by their respective chefs before a multidisciplinary panel of judges.
GUEXT Forum
The GUEXT Forum will bring together professionals and experts to analyse the key changes in the hospitality and catering sectors.
The sessions will address issues such as digitalisation, artificial intelligence, sustainability, new business models, staff shortages, kitchen and dining room design, smart catering and new consumer habits.
Kitchen Xperience
KitchenXperience by Dimasa will be a hands-on space where visitors can see machinery, equipment and technological solutions for the catering and institutional sectors in action.
This area will host live demonstrations by exhibiting companies and the final of the 1st National Competition for the Best School Menu.
