From 15 to 17 October, GUEXT will showcase the sector’s most cutting-edge innovations, cementing the trade fair’s position as the premier showcase for professional innovation.

GUEXT, the International Exhibition of Suppliers and Services for the Hospitality Industry, organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with FELAC, the Spanish Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of Machinery for the Hospitality, Institutional Catering and Related Industries, announces the products submitted for GUEXT Innovation 2026, an initiative that highlights exhibitors’ investment in R&D&I and their contribution to developing new standards for the hospitality and institutional catering sectors.

Selected products in equipment and machinery

VEGA, developed by ITV Ice Makers (stand 12E04), is an ice machine for domestic and residential use designed to be easy to operate for people with special needs. The equipment incorporates accessibility features such as an accessible height for the storage tank, simplified cleaning and maintenance systems, low-effort opening mechanisms, visual and audible aids, tactile signage and adapted controls. This proposal addresses the growing demand for inclusive facilities capable of enhancing the user experience for all users.

Another award-winning product is the Z40 Advance from Zummo (stand 12E05), a professional juicer designed for retail environments that introduces significant improvements in usability, performance and maintenance. Among its innovations is the Quick Exchange System, which allows the tray and juicing kit to be removed in just ten seconds, as well as an M-L feeder that is unique on the market and capable of accommodating 92% of oranges. The unit also features a patented mosquito-proofing system and intelligent ventilation, which help to optimise its performance and efficiency.

For its part, Repagas (stand 12E07) has been recognised for its innovative kitchen system featuring separate water tanks, a solution that redefines the way professional kitchens operate. This design makes each sink independent of the two-burner hob module, allowing users to use only as much water as is needed at any given time and to configure the equipment entirely to their own requirements. This development offers significant advantages in terms of resource savings, value for the customer and the democratisation of innovation, as it is integrated into a standard product range rather than being limited to premium ranges.

Selected products in technology and digitalisation

In the category of technology applied to the guest experience, WELL IN, by Tailoradio Ibérica (stand 12B05), has been recognised. It is an intelligent self-check-in solution designed to fully automate reception processes. The tool enables users to carry out tasks such as identity verification and validation, guest registration, checking bookings, managing outstanding payments and issuing keys and access codes, all independently. Furthermore, it makes it easier to arrange additional services and provide personalised information, enabling reception staff to focus on customer service tasks that add greater value.

Another innovation is the Intelligent Floating Condensation System with Automatic Condenser Self-Cleaning, developed by Infrico (stand 12E03). This technology combines automatic adjustment of condensation to actual workload with a self-cleaning system capable of maintaining the optimum performance of commercial refrigeration equipment throughout its service life. Key benefits include a reduction in energy consumption of up to 8 per cent, lower noise levels, fewer breakdowns and lower maintenance costs, as well as an overall improvement in the sustainability and operational efficiency of this type of equipment.

Corequip (12E06), for its part, presents a comprehensive solution for the management, automation and digitalisation of self-service laundrettes, based on the EK22 smart control centre and Eykore’s BBMax terminals. This technology enables real-time management of the launderette’s operations, including washing machines, tumble dryers, bookings and payment collection. Its key advantage lies in the integration of smart technology into each unit, the early detection of faults, updates and remote maintenance, as well as quick installation that is compatible with multiple brands. By combining operational data with advanced business analytics, the solution helps to improve efficiency, reduce costs, safeguard cash flow and optimise decision-making to boost profitability and customer acquisition.

With these accolades, GUEXT Innovación 2026 reinforces its role as a showcase for the solutions that are driving the evolution of the hospitality industry. The award-winning products reflect some of the key trends that will shape the future of the sector: the digitalisation of processes, energy efficiency, resource conservation, universal accessibility and improvements to the experience of users and professionals.

From 15 to 17 October at IFEMA MADRID, GUEXT will position itself as a commercial and professional platform dedicated to driving forward, modernising and enhancing the competitiveness of the entire value chain of the hospitality industry.
