Salón Look Madrid is to host a new edition of Nailympion Spain, the most prestigious nail championship in the world

Hall 5 at Feria de Madrid on 5th, 6th and 7th of November will be hosting a new edition of this competition, open to anyone interested in creative nail makeup

Salón Look Madrid, the Image and Integral Aesthetics Exhibition organised by IFEMA, will for the fourth consecutive year be hosting a new edition of the most prestigious nail championship in the world, during the celebration of its next edition from 5th to 7th November at Feria de Madrid.

The championship has been renamed for this edition, and is now titled Nailympion Spain, instead of Nailympics Spain and is being expanded from two to three days so that it can be held on the same days as Salón Look Madrid.The competition is open to anyone interested in creative nail makeup, from beginners to professionals anywhere in the world.

In terms of prizes, four categories have been established:  Winner of Winners, the winner of all divisions (except students); Grand Champion; Nail Art Champion and Students Team Trophy.

The results of this competition are guaranteed by the INJA, International Judge Association, qualified professionals who will ensure that the championship proceeds fairly and properly.  Nailympion is run by Lysa Comfort, internationally renowned nail technician and artist, who is also the head judge in all the competitions. In Spain it is headed by Maria Moreno.

The Nailympion competition is also being held in the United States (Los Angeles), South Korea (Seoul), Italy (Rome), Ukraine, Russia and in Asia.

Salón Look Madrid, one additional hall

The next edition of Salón Look Madrid - to be held from 5th to 7th November - will expand to Halls 3, 4, 5 and 14.1 at Feria de Madrid, one more than in previous editions, enabling better organisation of its contents and for each hall to exhibit the offering from each sector individually.

Hall 3 will be totally dedicated to Beauty firms with their latest products and treatments and continuous demonstrations; Hall 4 will host Hairdressing brands showing their most recent market launches, and Hall 5 will house Nails and Make-up with firms from both sectors, as well as various competitions, activities and contests for this edition. In addition to all this, Hall 14.1 will feature the Hair Look catwalk, where a number of  Hairdressing shows organised by important domestic and international names will be taking place.

Aside from the commercial area, Salón Look Madrid 2016 will boast a full schedule of parallel activities, which will allow professionals to complement their visit and learn first-hand about the innovations and progress made by the sector's leading companies.

In total, this edition of Salón Look Madrid aims to have the participation of 400 direct exhibitors and more than 1,200 national and international brands.
