The Hairdressing industry comes out in force for Salón Look 2019

Organised by IFEMA the show will take place from 18 to 20 October, at Feria de Madrid On this occasion, the sector will take over Hall 14, showcasing the latest launches from hair cosmetics, extensions, tools and workwear firms, including the furniture and barber sectors Spain’s most spectacular hair industry show will take place on the Pasarela Hair Look catwalk in Hall 14.1, on the top floor of the area occupied by the exhibition

Once again, Salón Look, the International Image and Integral Aesthetics Exhibition organised by IFEMA, will be Spain's leading platform and one of Europe’s top platforms for the professional Hairdressing industry.

This time, participants in the commercial industry area will include numerous hair cosmetics, extensions, tools and workwear companies, including the barbers and furniture sector in Hall 14 of Feria de Madrid. In the meantime, Pasarela Hair Look in Hall 14.1 will be in its usual venue, which also hosts Madrid Fashion Week twice a year. This catwalk is the place to see spectacular shows featuring the latest cuts and colours, techniques and finishes devised by big sector brands and renowned international hair stylists.    

Among the events programmed for Pasarela Hair Look are the 20th Young Promises Omat International Gala, Spain's main show for young hairdressers and makeup artists Fashion Night by L'Oréal Professionnel, a night full of fashion, trends and modernity. There’s also the the sixth edition of Effervescene, courtesy of Mikel Luzeaa meeting place for ground-breaking hairdressers on the Spanish scene; Color  Explosion by Kadus, and the Schwarzkopf and Pulpriot shows. Once again, this edition of the event will culminate with the  CLUB FIGARO awards, whose tenth edition is sponsored by Revlon Professional in collaboration with Artero and Salón Look. A spectacular show during which the winners will be announced from a short-list of 15 finalist firms, with a magnificent display of creativity on the stage before the awards ceremony.

The connecting hub between Halls 12 and 14 will be a training area. One initiative in this zone will be the Look Lab, an experimental space specially created for the digitalisation of the beauty sector, where specialists, researchers and startups will present the Salon of the future. The connecting hub will also house the Academy area, with valuable training options and the Business Meeting and illuminating panel discussions featuring respected figures from the Spanish hairdressing sector.

There will also be courses and masterclasses delivered by Universidad de la Imagen, Fernando Suarz, Urbiola Formación, Pivot Point and Passaró, among other companies. 

Other events held as part of Salón Look’19 are the Feminine Beauty Forum, by Revlon Professional; the 1st Ibero-American Personal Image Congress sponsored by Montibello and 3 Claveles, and the QHAIR and Barberiasconencanto awards which will take place within the framework of IFEMA once again.

Salón Look, the Iberian Peninsula's undisputed leader

The next edition of Salón Look,  the undisputed leader on the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most relevant on the European circuit, will take place from 18 to 20 October 2019 and will cover Halls 2, 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid.  A total of 400 exhibiting companies and more than 1,300 national and international brands are expected to be there.

Salon Look will be open from 10 am to 8 pm.
