The sector response to the ideal dates for the next edition of the event was analysed at the most recent MOTORTEC MADRID Organisation Committee meeting. Accordingly, and taking into consideration the interests of the sector, IFEMA MADRID has decided to host the seventeenth edition of MOTORTEC MADRID from 23rd-26th April 2025. This decision will benefit the business interests of the companies and professionals.

It was announced during the press conference held today at IFEMA MADRID, during which the dates for the MOTORTEC MADRID 2025 event were made public by David Moneo, Director of IFEMA Motor & Mobility, together with Benito Tesier, President of the SERNAUTO Components Commission, Nines García de la Fuente, President of ANCERA, Javier Sanz de Andino, Manager Motortec Madrid and Nuria Álvarez, Institutional Relations and Communication at CONEPA.

During the presentation, the good results achieved at the previous edition of MOTORTEC MADRID held in April 2022 were reviewed, which confirmed this event as the largest commercial event in the automotive aftermarket sector in southern Europe, bringing together more than 500 exhibiting companies, 1,200 brands and more than 52,000 professionals. This edition was particularly notable for the significant attendance from workshop professionals (over 25,000, which represented an increase of 10% compared to the previous edition and accounted for 48% of the total number of visits).

For the upcoming 2025 edition, the Organisation hopes to exceed these figures as a result of the full recovery and positive reactivation experienced by the sector, ahead of which it has reserved a total 8 of the pavilions at the IFEMA MADRID Recinto Ferial (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8) increasing its surface area by 36% compared to the previous edition for its seventeenth edition, to host the anticipated varied offering.

Therefore, and with a view to boosting business participation in 2025, MOTORTEC MADRID will intensify its initiatives in order to attract more manufacturers and consolidate the presence of distribution groups, thus leading to a greater number of workshops.

Until MOTORTEC MADRID 2025 takes place, IFEMA MADRID will organise working groups, together with the main associations and businesses in the sector, in order to ensure the participation of the most prominent manufacturers and suppliers in the market, in addition to the most relevant distribution groups and firms.

Other strategic lines for the next edition will be the reinforcement of the international profile of the event itself, formalising alliances with associations of manufacturers and distributors from other nations, in particular Portugal, a country with which it has maintained a long-standing, close relationship. It therefore promotes group visits, in addition to the presence and support of MOTORTEC MADRID at events in the sector.

MOTORTEC MADRID will also further reinforce its programme of Technical Conferences, parallel to the trade fair itself, adding value to participants by providing a space for the highest level of analysis and reflection.

Therefore, in the months prior to its seventeenth edition, MOTORTEC MADRID will organise a series of webinars regarding topics of interest to the sector. This activity is complemented by the direct relationship that the Show maintains with the sector throughout the year, thanks to its LIVE CONNECT platform, which already proved its effectiveness as a networking tool at the 2022 edition.

MOTORTEC MADRID is aligned with an increasingly digital sector. It is worth highlighting the prompt incorporation of workshops as part of this digitalisation process, encouraged by the recent generational change, in addition to the incorporation of technologies, driven as a result of the pandemic.
