MOTORTEC Chile 2025 breaks its own record in terms of participants with almost 8,000 trade visitors and more than 150 exhibitors

At this fourth edition, the off-road sector was well represented with an impressive display of camper vans, 4x4 vehicles, and specialised equipment, adding excitement to an exhibition that was greatly enjoyed by hundreds of professionals, experts, and families.
The Espacio Riesco exhibition centre in Santiago de Chile hosted three busy days of networking, technology, and expertise from 26 to 28 June, where the automotive world was experienced with strength and passion. An even more ambitious event is planned for 2026.
The fourth MOTORTEC Chile 2025 welcomed almost 8,000 visitors over three days from June 26 to 28. This marks a new milestone for Espacio Riesco and IFEMA MADRID, the organisers of this important international event in Ibero-America, now established as the leading automotive aftermarket fair in South America's Southern Cone.
The event, held at the Espacio Riesco Exhibition Centre in Santiago de Chile, brought together more than 150 brands from 15 countries, gathering leading experts, professionals, students, and automotive enthusiasts.
This year's event had a distinctly international flavour; in fact, half of the exhibition offerings came from abroad, complemented by a successful lineup of business meetings. Furthermore, it is worth highlighting the excellent reception given to the Ibero-American Chambers of Auto Parts and Replacement Frameworks meeting, as well as the satisfaction expressed by workshop professionals regarding the exhibition offer they experienced at the Salon.
According to Katherine Becker, Director of MOTORTEC Chile, “This was a time for intensive commercial activity, technical networking, and a comprehensive showcase of products, services, technological solutions, and live experiences. This event is far more than an exhibition; it is a meeting point for all stakeholders in the important automotive aftermarket sector—a fundamental part of the motor industry’s operations”.
Meanwhile, Jaime Martín, Director of International Expansion at IFEMA MADRID, expressed his satisfaction with MOTORTEC Chile’s results, mentioning that this fourth edition is the brilliant culmination of a season that began last April with the successful 17th MOTORTEC in Madrid, which brought together more than 65,000 professionals and 710 companies. Once again, it proved to be the leading showcase for the automotive aftermarket in southern Europe.
One highlight of MOTORTEC Chile 2025 was the fourth edition of the MOTORTEC Technical Olympiads, a competition organised in collaboration with Duoc UC, which tested the analysis and problem-solving skills of future industry technicians. The teams from Colegio María Griselda Valle and INACAP were declared winners for their outstanding performance, solving challenges live in front of the audience. The institutions participating in this competition were Duoc UC, AIEP, Inacap, UFSM, IP Chile, among others.
Additionally, high-level technical exhibitions were held on two large stages, led by experts, covering key topics for the development of the automotive aftermarket sector and sharing strategic insights for the future of the market.
The off-road world was also represented with an impressive display of campers, 4x4 vehicles, and specialised equipment, bringing even more excitement to the fair, which was greatly enjoyed by hundreds of professionals, experts, and families. They were also treated to a classic car show and live performances.
During the event, recognitions were awarded to prominent figures in the Chilean automotive industry, including journalist Paola Leyton, who was named the best automotive communicator and honoured for her magazine, Revista Estilo Motor. The best aftermarket project of the year was awarded to La Liebre from Cars & Coffee. Felipe Joui from UHP was recognised for his career in the sector. The "Entrepreneurial Strength" award went to a mechanic from Viña del Mar, who reinvented himself amid adversity. The ceremony concluded with the recognition of Gerardo Rosselot as Most Promising Driver.
At this historic edition, MOTORTEC Chile 2025 concludes what has been its most ambitious version to date, established as a strategic platform for business, technical training, and international projection for all participants in the automotive aftermarket in the region.
The organisers are already working on an even more powerful and attractive fair for 2026, which will be held at its usual venue, the Espacio Riesco Exhibition Centre in Santiago de Chile, from 25 to 27 June 2026.
