From 7 to 10 April 2027, in the Recinto Ferial de IFEMA MADRID

MOTORTEC is once again bringing together the European automotive aftermarket sector for its next edition, to be held from 7 to 10 April 2027 at IFEMA MADRID. Just two weeks after tickets went on sale, MOTORTEC 2027 is progressing at a steady pace and has already reached 46 per cent of its exhibition space capacity, with 32 per cent of exhibitors confirmed. The forecast for this upcoming edition is to attract 725 participating companies across more than 100,000 m² of exhibition space spread across six halls (3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10), with an estimated attendance of 66,800 visitors, including 35,000 workshop professionals.

MOTORTEC 2027 will organise its content around various key themes, which will form the backbone of the fair’s entire programme and activities, including:

  • The digitalisation of the workshop, with a particular focus on the integration of management systems – from ERP and CRM to DMS platforms – as well as the development of digital ecosystems that enable the optimisation of operations and the improvement of customer relations. The aim: to drive the workshop’s definitive transition to a fully digital business model.
  • Artificial intelligence, and its application in advanced diagnostics, process automation and data analysis, will enable professionals to improve efficiency, increase profitability and move towards decision-making based on real-time information.
  • The impact of connected and autonomous vehicles, which are introducing new paradigms in the relationship between the workshop, the vehicle and the manufacturer. Connectivity, new maintenance protocols and access to vehicle data will be key aspects in the business evolution.
  • The transformation of the customer relationship, characterised by the digitalisation of the customer experience: online booking, real-time tracking of service work and greater transparency in processes. This change reflects the shift towards a digital, better-informed, more demanding and loyalty-oriented customer.
  • The electrification of the vehicle fleet – driven by the growth in electric and hybrid vehicles, alongside the development of charging infrastructure – is changing both the volume and the nature of workshop repairs, forcing the sector to adapt both technically and strategically.
  • Fleets and corporate clients involved in car hire, leasing and mobility services. MOTORTEC will examine how this professionalisation of demand is raising standards of efficiency, control and traceability in the aftermarket.
  • Advances in predictive maintenance, based on sensors, telemetry and data analysis, will also play a prominent role at the trade fair. This development makes it possible to anticipate breakdowns, optimise response times and improve vehicle availability, particularly in professional settings.
  • Logistics and the supply chain will form part of the exhibition and conference programme, covering the digitalisation of distribution and the availability of spare parts.

Furthermore, the event will strengthen its international dimension, with a particular focus on Africa, Latin America (Mexico and Colombia), France, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Turkey, through partnerships with associations, trade media and specific initiatives aimed at attracting buyers and trade visitors.

The programme of events will include around 260 sessions and more than 13,000 speakers, organised around the themes of technological transformation, business models and people management, with content ranging from electrification and artificial intelligence to digitalisation and sustainability.

In addition, MOTORTEC 2027 will feature MOTORTEC EXPORTA, an international networking space, and MOTORTEC TALENT, aimed at attracting and retaining professionals.
