MOTORTEC Chile opens its doors to the new generation of the motoring world

The fair is a comprehensive space where tradition, innovation, and the future of mobility coexist all in one venue
From June 26 to 28, the Espacio Riesco Exhibition Centre in Santiago, Chile, will once again become a leading meeting point for the automotive after-sales sector in South America. The fourth edition of MOTORTEC Chile 2025 will bring together 150 brands from 15 countries and is expected to welcome over 7,000 professional visitors.
These figures make it clear that MOTORTEC Chile, once again, is the largest trade and business platform in the region for players in the aftermarket sector, encompassing high-end spare parts suppliers, technical services, distributors, importers, and buyers seeking innovative solutions.
53% of visitors to the show are decision-makers, making the event a key environment for developing genuine business opportunities
Moreover, in addition to showcasing the latest innovations and providing a top-tier business space, MOTORTEC Chile reaffirmed its commitment to developing young talent through a new edition of the MOTORTEC Olympiads.
This competition is open to students from technical and vocational institutions, including Duoc UC, AIEP, Inacap, UFSM, and IP Chile, as well as Vicente Valdés Technical College and Andes Polytechnic High School, among others. They will showcase their skills by solving real mechanical challenges in front of a technical jury and a specialised audience.
“This is a unique opportunity to showcase the work, effort, and skills of hundreds of young people passionate about engine mechanics. More than 500 students have participated in four editions, creating a tangible social impact by connecting emerging talent with companies and industry leaders,” says Katherine Becker, Director of MOTORTEC Chile.
This experience strengthens their training and positions them in front of representatives from the global industry, in a fair that has successfully attracted stakeholders from the automotive aftermarket across Asia, Europe, and Ibero-America.
Simultaneously, the event will feature a busy schedule of sessions, including business meetings, technical conferences, keynote talks, classic car exhibitions, a 4x4 and performance zone with live demonstrations, and more.
“The heart of the aftermarket is adaptability and evolution. At MOTORTEC Chile, we want to showcase not only products and services but also the people behind the engine: technicians, students, mechanics, and visionaries who are pushing the boundaries of the sector,” concludes Becker.
According to Jaime Martín, Director of International Expansion at IFEMA MADRID, “It is extremely satisfying for our Exhibition Centre to see the consolidation of our fair model on that continent. MOTORTEC concluded its seventeenth edition, held in April, with a record number of participants. It brought together 710 companies from 80 countries and over 65,000 professionals, reaffirming our event as the largest automotive aftermarket fair in southern Europe.”
