MBFWMadrid is still announcing the names of the designers who will be on the line-up of its September show, the 78th edition, at which Spain's most important designers will present their proposals for the next SS24 season. The event, which will run from 13 to 17 September, kicks off on the 13th with the Fashion Shows in the City Day (formerly known as OFF), while from 14 to 17 September all the presentations will take place in the Mercedes-Benz Hall in pavilion 14.1 of the Recinto Ferial IFEMA MADRID.

The industry's most important platform for Spanish design and fashion creation, MBFWMadrid will showcase the work of our country's most important designers. Many of these names have already crossed borders to triumph in many different countries, both near and far, dominating the covers of the most important fashion magazines and, of course, dressing their most important muses. In addition to the already confirmed Teresa Helbig, these are some of the international designers who have confirmed their presence at the 78th MBFWMadrid:

MANS. Created by Seville’s very own Jaime Álvarez, this firm won Vogue Spain’s Who's On Next in 2020. After his debut on the Madrid catwalk in January 2020 with his Autumn-Winter 20/21 collection, he is now returning to MBFWMadrid. MANS has demonstrated the art of tailoring with a reinvented and highly contemporary vision. A red carpet name that has dressed national and international celebrities at some of our country’s most important cultural events: the Goya Awards, the Feroz Awards, the major 40 Principales event... as well as occupying the covers of top fashion magazines all over the world: from France, Italy, Bulgaria... to the USA. It’s even crossed the Pacific and featured on the front pages of China’s fashion media.

CLARO COUTURE. Also from Seville, June saw this firm take a determined step towards its internationalisation and it is currently immersed in an international expansion process that began with Miami and has focused on meetings and gatherings with the country's fashion personalities to raise awareness of the company. Created by the Sevillian designer Fernando Claro, and renovated alongside his daughter Beatriz,

Claro Couture has just confirmed that they will be taking part in the next edition of MBFWMadrid - they have in fact participated faithfully in this event since January 2020, when they made their debut on the Madrid catwalk. This year, they will be presenting a much more fluid collection than on other occasions, inspired by the behaviour of the ocean... the fluidity of the waves, the silhouettes of the foam, the pearls, the breeze... with fabrics such as muslin, chiffon, silk tulle, net, pearl beads in mother-of-pearl pinks, yellows, light blues and navy blues.

CUSTO BARCELONA. This Catalan firm has evolved into a brand with a well-established image, presenting its collections every season since 1997 on international catwalks such as New York Fashion Week. Driven by innovation and creativity, both form the basis of a style characterised by the use of graphics and colour, which has become a true icon recognised by all fashion lovers. Such has been its success that it has been recognised not only by the public who buy its garments but also by fashion professionals, the media and celebrities. Ever since its debut at MBFWMadrid in February 2017, it has become a faithful participant in Spain’s most high-profile fashion event. For this new collection, Custo Barcelona will no doubt surprise us all once again with a collection overflowing with personality.

DUARTE. Set up in 2016 by Carlos Duarte, a great connoisseur of the world of fashion, the firm has achieved recognition in many territories outside our country. With clients in Canada, China and Germany, the company, which has tailoring as one of its strengths, is known for its innovation and avant-garde techniques, as well as for supporting Spanish artists of international renown, such as C. Tangana and Ester Expósito, who have worn its clothes. Duarte, who made his first appearance in what used to be known as the OFF programme at the September 2017 edition of MBFWMadrid, will return to the Mercedes-Benz Hall for another edition to show the world the elegance and sophistication of each and every one of his designs.

MBFWMadrid will hold its next event from 13 to 17 September with the support of companies that lead the way in each of their respective sectors. The main sponsors are Mercedes-Benz, L’Oréal Paris and Inditex. In addition, Allianz, Iberia, Multiópticas, Galería Canalejas, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and GHD will participate as sponsors; and Dorsia Clínicas, AEG, the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Mar de Frades, Martin Miller's Gin, UDIT Design and Technology University, Rowenta and Schweppes Selection will take part as collaborators.
