Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, organized by IFEMA MADRID with the support of the Madrid City Council, announces the dates of its next edition, to be held March 18–21, 2026. This upcoming F/W 2026 evetnt introduces a renewed structure aligned with its new strategy to find a place within the international fashion calendar, creating a format that reflects the evolution and ambition of Spain’s leading fashion event.

This new edition will unfold over four days of celebration: two dedicated to runway shows across iconic locations in Madrid, strengthening MBFWMadrid’s connection to the city, local talent, and an international audience, followed by two final days at IFEMA MADRID, each with a distinct focus.

Wednesday, March 18 – Glamour and Urban Runway

The opening day will feature designers with a more elevated, couture-driven approach. This day will showcase high-profile brands that attract media attention, excitement, and celebrity presence, with the goal of starting the March edition of MBFWMadrid with strong visual impact, glamour, and storytelling.

Thursday, March 19 – New Generations and Contemporary Style

The second day will celebrate talent that sparks global interest. Dedicated to the new generation of designers, it will present urban, contemporary, and digitally oriented collections — reinforcing MBFWMadrid’s expansion into new spaces and audiences. The focus will be on the freshest, most experimental creativity on the Spanish scene, aiming to consolidate emerging talent with an international outlook.

Friday, March 20 – IFEMA MADRID Industry

The third day will focus on the industry, featuring international showrooms that promote professional networking and connections among brands, buyers, and specialized media. The goal is to strengthen the business structure of the sector and boost commercial opportunities.

Saturday, March 21 – EGO: 20th Anniversary

The closing day will celebrate 20 years of EGO, with runway shows and performances highlighting the innovation and creativity of emerging designers. The program will commemorate EGO’s journey over the past two decades and project its future, reaffirming its role as an essential platform for the new generations of fashion.

Asier Labarga, Director of MBFWMadrid, states that with these new changes, “we want each edition of this event to surprise and inspire. This new structure aims to open fashion to the city, strengthen its international projection, and celebrate the future with an ambitious vision — always with the goal of supporting fashion talent and industry.”

The main runway will also launch a new scenography and visual identity, moving away from its signature black space in favour of a brighter, more dynamic and contemporary aesthetic, aligned with the innovative spirit of this new chapter.

EGO: 20 years of talent and future.

The EGO platform celebrates two decades as the great launching pad for emerging Spanish talent. Designers such as Dominnico, María Ke Fisherman, Pepa Salazar, and Beatriz Peñalver began their careers on this stage, which continues to define the future of Spanish fashion.

To mark its anniversary, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid opens the door to new partners and strategic alliances to reinforce EGO’s role as a driver of creativity and diversity.
