• Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Pedro del Hierro, Hannibal Laguna, Fely Campo, Lola Casademunt and Juan Carlos Pajares round off the final MBFWMadrid calendar

The window for confirming participation in the official calendar of the upcoming September edition of MBFWMadrid has now closed, but before it did, the organisers of the event happily confirmed that a series of designers who are staunch supporters of the event, now in its 78th edition, will be presenting their Spring Summer 24 collections. Organised by IFEMA MADRID, the fashion show will take place from 13 to 17 September in Hall 14.1 of the Recinto Ferial and in other unique locations around the city.

Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada. In response to endless requests from her clients and friends, not to mention her own son, the designer’s next catwalk show will feature a range of designs for men. She made her first appearance on the famous Cibeles catwalk, now the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, in 1985 and has been one of the project’s most loyal designers ever since.

Pedro Del Hierro. He will be returning to MBFWMadrid with a high-profile front row and guests from the Spanish cultural world who are well known in our society.  Named after its creator, the firm made its debut on the catwalk in 1986 and has already made more than thirty presentations at MBFWMadrid.

Fely Campo has become the designer of choice for personalities such as Ainhoa Arteta, Marta Sánchez, Susana Griso and Brisa Fenoy. Her passion for design has led her to take on new challenges such as the opening of her atelier in Madrid. Fely Campo has successfully created her own universe characterised by an elegant, sober style and excellent pattern designing, which will be reflected in her next collection ZIGURAT SS 24. A proposal steeped in the rhythm, freedom and chromaticism of Cuban Deco, which she will be presenting at this forthcoming event. She made her debut at MBFWMadrid in March 2022 and this will be the fourth edition she has presented at.

Hannibal Laguna is a creator whose company has always been linked to the MBFWMadrid catwalk. This year, the designer has opened his exhibition in Alicante to celebrate the company's 35th anniversary with a retrospective of 35 iconic outfits. An unpublished retrospective of Hannibal Laguna, who first appeared on the catwalk in 1998 and has gone on to become one of the key figures in each of the editions held since then.

Juan Carlos Pajares made his first appearance on the young talent catwalk in 2017, before making the leap to the big catwalk in September 2020. On this occasion, the creator from La Mancha has once again chosen to present his collection in the Mercedes-Benz Hall in front of an audience that is increasingly committed to the brand, which has already garnered highly positive reviews in the national and international press.

Lola Casademunt. Inspired by ancient Egyptian civilisations, the next SS 24 season pays tribute to their culture, colours and timelessly elegant designs. An ode to fashion, where the ancient and the modern join forces to create a simply dreamy look. She has participated in every edition of MBFWMadrid since 2021, the year in which she made her debut.

The 78th edition of MBFWMadrid will be sponsored by 16 different brands. The main sponsors are Mercedes-Benz, L’Oréal Paris and Inditex. In addition, Allianz, Iberia, Multiópticas, Galería Canalejas, Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and GHD will participate as sponsors; and Dorsia Clínicas, AEG, the Autonomous Community of Madrid, POLIMODA, Mar de Frades, Martin Miller's Gin, Málaga de Moda together with the corporate identity of the Provincial Council of Malaga, UDIT Design and Technology University, Rowenta, Schweppes Selection will take part as collaborators and Solán de Cabras will be the official water supplier.
