About Alejandre

Born in Madrid, creative director Sandra Alejandre studied fashion at the IADE design school. During the months of confinement during the pandemic, she decided to create her own brand, Alejandre, and create her first collection, which would see the light of day in December 2020. In just over four years, the designer has managed to sell her products through her website, shipping worldwide and dressing celebrities such as Karol G, Dua Lipa, Julia Fox, Nathy Peluso, Bad Gyal and Kourtney Kardashian; she has also worked on costumes for national and international artists' dancers. She will be walking the runway at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid for the third time, opting for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent award with her fourth collection.

“CORE"

The "CORE" collection is inspired by the close connection between an artist's work and personal life. In the artistic field, work is almost a way of life. This concept inevitably affects our perception as individuals, the way we dress and, therefore, our relationship to fashion and trends.

We dress not only for functional reasons, but also to fulfill our need to express ourselves in a way that we feel aligned with our tastes. A cry of singularity in the face of the generality, in many cases, de-virtualising the dress codes and reconstructing them with our own personal look.

Throughout the collection, we can perceive a revision of classic patterns, reinterpreted and infected with the brand's lingerie identity; in addition to silhouettes enriched with powerful styling, where the overlapping of garments and the contrast of different styles predominate, with the aim of actively transforming the essences and peculiarities of modern femininity.
