The area is designed like a marketplace, where architects, interior designers and decorators, project managers, hotel managers and corporate contracting specialists can discover the latest developments and key elements for their projects.
To maintain the area’s philosophy and exclusivity, a committee comprising industry professionals will select participants from among all applications received, on the basis of innovation, quality and design, and both functional and aesthetic value.
INTERIOR DESIGN SOLUTIONS will share a prime location with the leading companies in textile design, wallpapers and wall coverings, which will be hosted by the section Signature Textiles, offering a wide-ranging reflection of specialist firms in these sectors. In this way, Hall 1 at IFEMA, the main entry point for visitors to the trade fair complex, will have a strong sense of identity, giving it a leading role in the next trade fair.
Given Madrid’s importance as the main centre for the management of property market projects and contracting, and home to the most prestigious architecture and interior design studies in Spain, Intergift constitutes an unmissable event for these professional segments. During the last trade fair, which welcomed more than 36,000 visitors, some 22 por ciento were interior designers and architects and 44 por ciento were professional decorators.
Intergift’s exhibition area will extend across Halls 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 at Feria de Madrid, organised into separate sections focused on gifts, homeware and interior design. More than 40,000 square metres of exhibition space will play host to the most innovative ideas and trends in these areas, making the trade fair the benchmark event for the world of interior design and gifts in Spain, and one of the most important worldwide.
Held in parallel with Intergift and also organised by IFEMA are Bisutex, the International Costume Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, in Hall 4, and MadridJoya, the International Urban and Trendy Watch and Jewellery Trade Fair, in Hall 6. This makes for an important all-round event for trends, fashion and consumer goods. The event will also coincide with MOMAD - Madrid is fashion during the weekend of 8-10 February.
