The next edition of the INTERGIFT, Feria Internacional del Regalo y la Decoración (International Gift & Decoration Fair) will be held from 3 to 6 February 2027 at IFEMA MADRID.

INTERGIFT, Feria Internacional del Regalo y la Decoración (International Gift & Decoration Fair), has come to an end for the 87th time at IFEMA MADRID. The four-day event was packed with professional activity. With a track record placing it among the major events in IFEMA MADRID’s fair calendar, Intergift brought together more than 15,000 national and international trade professionals at this single annual edition, which was especially focused on business, inspiration and connections between the textiles, decoration, interior design and gift sectors. As a consequence, nearly 400 trade deals were made at the fair thanks to the International Buyers Programme, with strong participation from professionals across Europe and the Americas, reflecting solid international interest in the market.

The fair presented an exhibition offering of more than 250 national and international brands, which found Intergift to be a unique space to showcase new products, generate business contacts and identify commercial opportunities. The co-location of the Editores Textiles, Interior Design & Deco and Gift areas provided a cross‑sectional view of the sector, aligned with new market demands and appreciated by a professional audience for its specialisation, product quality and strategic significance.

Intergift also hosted the first Furniture Week of the Community of Madrid, an initiative promoted together with the Community of Madrid, the Arganda del Rey City Council and the Hábitat Madrid Association, which helped activate specialised furniture and habitat trade and foster connections between sector players.

Reflection of interior design and gift trends that will mark 2026

Opened by Marta Nieto, Director General of Commerce, Consumption and Services of the Community of Madrid, together with Daniel Martínez, Executive Vice‑President of IFEMA MADRID, Arancha Priede, Director General of Fairs and Congresses at IFEMA MADRID, and Julia González, Director of the Fair, this edition of Intergift identified the main sector trends present in the 2026 collections.

In the Editores Textiles area, proposals based on textured fabrics, natural fibres and colour palettes inspired by earth tones and whites stood out, alongside highly decorative wall coverings aimed at residential and contract projects. Interior Design & Deco focused on a more emotional and functional approach to interiors, with furniture featuring soft lines, modular pieces and artisanal finishes that will enhance the identity of spaces. Meanwhile, the Gift area showed a move towards more creative and customisable gifts, with particular prominence given to small decorative objects and humorous, narrative-led proposals designed for specialist retail.

EmocionArte, Desert Dress and content to add to the professional experience

Beyond the commercial showcase, the 87th edition of Intergift was a lively forum for professional reflection and networking. For example, Speaker’s Corner brought together experts, brands and influencers for debates on innovation, retail, training, artificial intelligence and new strategies for the habitat trade, becoming one of the fair’s activity hubs.

The new EmocionArte space introduced an artistic perspective on decorative objects through exclusive pieces with their own identity, while Desert Dress, designed by Deseese Design, offered a compelling dialogue between interior design and fashion in a project that attracted notable interest from visiting professionals.

The drive to promote talent and excellence in design was embodied in the awards ceremony for the second edition of the Best Interior Design Projects Competition. This time, the winning projects were Joyería Ordóñez, by Pedro Luis Marín Torres, in the Retail category; Dentalnova, by Cecilia López Muiños and Juan José Otero Vázquez (MOLA Arquitectura), in the Contract category; and Casa 64, by Federica Aridon Mamolar (OOIIO Arquitectura), in the Residential category.

With these results, Intergift celebrated an edition aligned with the sector’s new dynamics and meeting the expectations of the professional public. The next edition of Intergift will be held from 3 to 6 February 2027 at IFEMA MADRID.
