The most exclusive interior design comes to Intergift 2019 under the banner of 'Signature Fabrics', which will involve the participation of over 120 leading international brands in textile design, wallpapers and wall coverings. At this fifth event, the exhibition area will host the largest and widest-ranging reflection of specialist firms yet, making Hall 1 at IFEMA the number one showcase for deluxe interior design.
The loyalty shown by brands to 'Signature Fabrics' confirms the status of the International Gifts and Decoration Trade Fair - which will take place between 6 and 10 February - as one of the most important international events in this area. As a new development, it will share its location with the new area ‘Interior Design Solutions’, creating an exclusive space for interior design, home decor and corporate contracting. In this way, Hall 1, the main entry point for visitors to the trade fair complex, will have a strong sense of identity, giving it a leading role in the next trade fair.
The high level of creativity showcased in 'Signature Fabrics' will encourage interior designers, home stylists, retailers and opinion leaders in the world of decoration to discover the multi-faceted potential of the textile sector. This section will again offer various designer collections from some of the biggest names in the international fashion world, including Armani, Etro, Roberto Cavalli, Cristian Lacroix, Missoni and Ralph Lauren.
There will also be some of the best companies from the previous event, such as Alhambra, Alpujarreña, Coordonné, CS by Baldaquino, Gancedo, Grupo Lamadrid, KA International, KP, Lizzo, Little Greene, Pepe Barrientos, Pepa Pastor, Romo and Yutes. Other companies from last year who will be returning to this exclusive showcase for the world of interior design include Casamance, Camengo, Misia, Casadeco, Caselio, Arte-Internacional, Papers, Mindthegap, Designers Guild, CR Class, Barbara Osorio Fabrics, Alfombras Peña, Clarke & Clarke and FibreGuard.
This select section will showcase collections with a wide variety of designs and textures. Fabrics taking a leading role will include wool, linen, cotton, velvet, chenille, jacquard, cheviot, jersey, piqué, tweed, silk and jute combined with viscose. At the same time, there will be a riot of colour on display with all shades of pink, green, yellow, blue, grey, brown, white and more. Also taking centre stage will be floral and tropical prints, as well as geometric patterns featuring triangles, parallel lines and stripes aplenty, without forgetting ethnic designs. Neutrals will also feature heavily in many upholstery collections.
The last Intergift trade fair welcomed over 36,000 visitors, of which some 22 por ciento were interior designers and architects and 44 por ciento professional decorators. Intergift’s exhibition area will extend across Halls 1, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 9 at Feria de Madrid, organised into separate sections focused on gifts, homeware and interior design.
Held in parallel with Intergift are Bisutex, the International Costume Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, in Hall 4, and MadridJoya, the International Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, in Hall 6. The event will also coincide with MOMAD - Madrid is fashion during the weekend of 8-10 February.
