We interviewed Aurelio del Pino, president of the Spanish Association of Supermarket Chains (ACES).
In this interview, Aurelio del Pino talks about how ACES members are living the current economic situation and how they are facing it; "We are really living a moment of enormous concern about what is happening in the geostrategic environment...".
He also explains what measures are being implemented in these times of loss of purchasing power for the consumer; "We have played a great role in helping the producers themselves to market their products".
In addition, we talk to him about the changes that have appeared in the consumer's shopping basket; "We are trying to continue offering the consumer the possibility of choosing".
He also tells us what opinion ACES has on the proposal to limit food prices; "From the legal point of view it is impossible to reach any agreement between companies for the limitation of prices or for the fixing of any other type of supply conditions".
Finally, he explains what message ACES is going to convey to the sector at Fruit Attraction; "This year there is a very special presence of companies associated with ACES that will use the fair itself as a platform to establish presentations, events and events with their own suppliers".
