HERMISAN, founded the quarry, Peru. Another success story
Our activity in Latin America has long been providing excellent results for our customers. Peru is one of HERMISAN's main centers of activity in the region.
The family that owns the company LAS MARÍAS has been a key player in Peru's economic development for more than 100 years. They currently grow mandarins, avocados and grapevines in different regions of Peru. In the Nuevo Imperial district, Cañete-Peru, LAS MARÍAS has created the citrus farm Fundo La Cantera S.A.C. For this new initiative, HERMISAN was required to implement the entire fertigation system for its new farm.
It was a large extension of 200 ha. of difficult and mountainous terrain. HERMISAN's project included a large reservoir with an elevation system to another regulating reservoir at a higher altitude and a complete irrigation head. This has an automated fertigation and climate center, with an outdoor weather station, automatic filtration systems, Nutricompact systems, and an extensive network of pipes, solenoid valves and drip irrigation systems. All managed by the SupraControl hydrocomputer.
HERMISAN technology was put at the service of our client and now we see its fruits. In a little more than three and a half years, the dry tracts of land have turned into lush mandarin fields that are already in full production.
A well-conceived and well-executed agricultural project that will bring wealth and prosperity to an entire region.
Hermisan will be present at FRUIT ATTRACTION stand 5B09.
