COMPAGNIE FRUTIÈRE participates for the eighth time in Fruit Attraction
This will be the eighth time that Compagnie Fruitière will be present at Fruit Attraction, a fair in which the Group intends to showcase the initiatives under way and the efforts being made to offer products with social and environmental guarantees. As the leading producer of bananas and pineapples in the ACP (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) Area, especially of "Fair Trade" and Bio bananas, and as one of the first distributors in Europe of this kind of fruit, Compagnie Fruitière invests continuously in the development of sustainable agriculture, linked to its social responsibility policy.
Founded in Marseille 80 years ago, its turnover exceeds 700 million euros and it employs 18,000 people.
The Group dominates the entire chain of fruit commercialization, from production to distribution, including transport, import and maturation.
The fair will be attended by a large contingent of employees from all departments and delegations with a full schedule of appointments with customers and suppliers.
We will also take advantage of the event to present new products and brands, as well as the IFS Certification obtained in Spain. This certification represents a very important qualitative leap in terms of infrastructure improvement, food fraud and food defence, in addition to confirming the impeccable traceability and the continuous training of staff, substantially improving the ISO Certification that we previously had.
That is one more goal achieved when it comes to consolidating excellence in marketing and distribution with the strongest social and environmental guarantees, to which the Compagnie Fruitière Group is committed.
