Designed in accordance with EHEDG hygienic standards, Curiosity stands out as the market's first fully hygienic optical sorter, focusing on maximizing food safety, production efficiency, and ease of cleaning.
The system combines advanced vision technology, Decaray multispectral lighting, and intelligent UNYCO software, capable of detecting defects, foreign bodies, and anomalies in fresh and processed foods with an optical resolution of 0.3 x 0.3 mm. Thanks to its belt-based inspection design and intelligent 2-way or 3-way ejection system, it separates defective products while maintaining the quality of accepted products intact. Curiosity is particularly notable for its innovative hygienic design. Its open structure eliminates hollow tubes and areas where debris can accumulate, facilitating deep cleaning and reducing the risk of bacterial growth.
Additionally, it features open hygienic cabling, self-draining surfaces, and IP68 protection, enabling fast and safe wash-down and disinfection processes. A key differentiator is the ultra-fast disassembly of the conveyor belt, which can be performed in under five minutes without tools.
