AIT, a company specialised in the design and manufacture of machinery for fruit and vegetable processing, will participate in Fruit Attraction 2026, taking place from 6 to 8 October at IFEMA Madrid
The company will be located at Stand 5C14A in Hall 5, where it will present two of its latest solutions: STRABERIX, the world’s first machine capable of fully automatically aligning, cutting and removing the leaves from strawberries, and PEPPEX, its new machine for the automatic coring and cutting of California peppers.
STRABERIX
It combines Artificial Vision, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics to dose each strawberry individually, identify the optimum cutting point according to its variety, position and size, and separate the leaves from the fruit without any manual intervention.
It is available in four models — from Straberix-1 to Straberix-4 — with capacities ranging from 14,400 to 57,600 strawberries per hour. Tested in real production environments and manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel with a hygienic design, the machine features AIT Remote connectivity for self-checking and reflects the renowned robustness of AIT-manufactured equipment.
PEPPEX
PEPPEX is an industrial solution for the coring, cutting and inspection of peppers intended for fresh-cut and ready-to-eat products, fresh produce and ready-to-cook applications. Within seconds, it transforms whole peppers into portions or strips, automatically adjusting the cutting and coring depth according to the size of the product through high-precision servo motors. Built in accordance with EHEDG hygiene and accessibility guidelines, different models are available depending on the required capacity, making it ideal for fajita lines, strip production and pre-processing prior to freezing.
