ShoesRoom by Momad hangs up the “full” sign for its first edition

ShoesRoom by Momad, the new event for the Footwear sector, organised by IFEMA, has hung up the “full” sign for its first edition, which will be held from 1 to 3 March (Friday to Sunday) in La Nave. This industrial style site, close to the centre of Madrid, will see all the spaces of its exhibition area occupied by 80 companies, which include large and emblematic Made in Spain footwear brands.

ShoesRoom by Momad thus gets off to a great start in terms of participation. The brands present in this first edition include such prominent companies as Callaghan, Wonders, Mustang, Unisa, Gioseppo, Jaime Mascaró, Sison, Alma de Candela, Gaimo and Victoria. They are joined by others that were also present at the previous Footwear event, organised by IFEMA, such as Pons Quintana, Pertini, Exé, Chie Mihara, Alma en Pena, Azarey, Vidorreta, United Nude, Arche, Som.mits, Kayakstorms, Aerobics and Nerogiardini , among others.

IFEMA has developed this new professional event for the Spanish footwear sector in collaboration with FICE, with the aim of providing a new commercial platform oriented towards the current market needs, on the best possible dates, and of use to this industry. ShoesRoom by Momad will therefore have a showroom format, a lower investment cost for participating brands and the same modular decoration for all exhibitors, which will make the product the star of the show.

Internationalisation, innovation, sustainability and strengthening the relationship with the buyer will be the cornerstones of ShoesRoom by Momad

An ambitious programme of international buyers is also being finalised for the event. This will attract representatives of leading establishments and distribution chains from the five continents. The presence of these buyers, invited by IFEMA in collaboration with ICEX, will also contribute to the internationalisation of the brands present at the fair.

Innovation Awards

ShoesRoom by Momad recently presented their Innovation Awards at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, aimed at all professionals and companies in this industry. These awards aim to encourage and acknowledge research and innovation among professionals in the sector, while at the same time fomenting and supporting the promotion of these advances, for those already present in the market.

The prizes have five categories: Innovation in Technology; Innovation in Corporate Social Responsibility; Fashion Innovation; Innovation in Retail and Trajectory.
