Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid and Substack announce partnership to promote new narratives around Spanish fashion
Substack joins the next edition of #MBFWMadrid as Content Partner, bringing new voices, exclusive content, and innovative editorial formats to the fashion community.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, Spain’s leading fashion platform, organised by IFEMA MADRID in collaboration with Madrid City Council, and Substack, the media platform where creators, designers, journalists, and experts build direct relationships with their audiences, have announced a strategic partnership for the next edition of the fashion week.
This partnership reinforces Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid’s commitment to innovation, the creation of high-quality content, and the development of spaces for exchange that encourage dialogue and reflection on the present and future of the fashion industry. Through this collaboration, Madrid fashion week is expanding its content ecosystem and offering new ways to connect creative talent with specialised audiences and global communities.
Front Row by Substack España
As part of the agreement, Substack has developed its first pilot programme for fashion content creators, entitled “Front Row by Substack España”. As part of this programme, seven well-known voices from the Substack community will act as its ambassadors during #MBFWMadrid, enjoying exclusive access to fashion shows, presentations, behind-the-scenes activity, and unique opportunities to share their perspectives on everything taking place throughout the week.
The creators selected for this first programme are: (www.https://moralesbasics.substack.com/); Gala Castro (https://girlpope.substack.com/) ; Nadia Azzouz (https://nadiaazzouz.substack.com/); Patricia Eguidazu (https://triziazu.substack.com/); Camila Romero (https://fashionmarketingmemo.substack.com/); Paloma Herce (https://elguateque.substack.com/) y Laura Muñoz (https://lauramlillo.substack.com/).
The Fashion Room by Substack: a private event for industry stakeholders
Substack and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid will also jointly host a private breakfast for key industry stakeholders on Thursday 10 September. The session will explore effective ways of unlocking the platform’s full potential to boost the development of meaningful new narratives around the fashion industry—moving beyond superficial impact towards editorial strategies capable of generating genuine cultural relevance.
#MBFWMadrid arrives on Substack
The partnership will also include the launch of the official Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid account on Substack. The fashion industry community will be able to follow the latest event news and access exclusive content formats before, during, and after fashion week.
