Spain’s leading fashion runway renews its advisory board with top industry professionals, in a presentation held at Galería Canalejas and the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid.

As it continues its renewal process ahead of its 40th anniversary, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid announces the new composition of its Fashion Committee, the advisory body that plays a key role in shaping the event’s strategic direction and positioning it as a benchmark for both Spanish and international fashion.

The new committee includes Ana Antic, CEO of Antic, a company dedicated to fashion consulting, branding, and brand positioning; Ana García-Siñeriz, journalist, writer, and Global Director of Vogue College of Fashion, with an extensive background in media, education, and fashion culture; Carmen de Terán, Digital Director at Mulberry, specializing in e-commerce and strategic digital growth; Juan Vidal, designer recognized for his artistic approach and multiple awards, including the National Fashion Award; María Eugenia Girón, businesswoman and board member of major companies, a prominent figure in luxury, sustainability, and entrepreneurship; Patricia Sancho, CEO of Atenea Consultancy and board member of TOUS; and Pepa Bueno, Executive Director of ACME – Asociación Creadores de Moda de España.

These new members join the MBFWMadrid management team, made up of Asier Labarga, Director of MBFWMadrid; Valentina Suárez-Zuloaga, Creative Director; and Arancha Priede, General Director of IFEMA MADRID’s Business Fair Division.

The Fashion Committee’s objective is to advise MBFWMadrid’s leadership on key matters related to the development of each edition of the event. It is also responsible for evaluating and selecting participating designers and brands, developing the calendar and content proposals, collaborating on the format design, and proposing actions aimed at national and international promotion of the runway.

With this renewal, MBFWMadrid reinforces its commitment to excellence, innovation, and the promotion of Spanish creative talent, consolidating itself as a strategic platform for designer fashion and design.
