Her Majesty the Queen of Spain grants an audience to the designers of the 83rd edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid
Her Majesty Queen Letizia granted an audience to a group representing Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid at the Palace of La Zarzuela. Also, there were designers who will participate in the next edition of the catwalk. The event marked the 40th anniversary of the leading platform for designer fashion in our country in 2025.
During the meeting, recent developments in the catwalk in relation to the fashion industry in Spain were addressed, as well as the strategic areas of the new event strategy, namely talent, sustainability, craftsmanship, the focus on the industry and internationalisation, in addition to the main challenges and opportunities of the sector in a context marked by digital transformation and sustainability.
After four decades, MBFWMadrid is established as the main platform for promoting national talent, boosting creativity and innovation, and strengthening the excellence of Spanish design, as well as its positioning in the international circuit of major fashion weeks.
The event has also highlighted IFEMA MADRID's commitment to developing the creative ecosystem, enhancing the visibility of Spanish designers in strategic markets, and strengthening “Marca España” in the fashion sector.
