Sobre Eaftimos
Erik Bruccia (León, 2001), raised in Benavente, grew up in a family linked to fashion: great-grandparents, grandmother and his mother dedicated to clothing sales and dressmaking awakened in him an interest in the world of fashion design. During the pandemic he began designing in a self-taught way and imagining his own project.
In 2021 he moved to Madrid to study a fashion master’s degree and, after a period of creative introspection, founded EAFTIMOS in 2023, a label that explores the idea of being “locked in oneself”. Under the slogan Locked in oneself he works with shadow and inner voice as narrative drivers. In 2024 he presented his first independent show in Madrid, RESiLiENCE A/W24. The brand places craftsmanship at its core: footwear and accessories are developed in his own studio in small series with handcrafted finishes.
Collection lines
NIERIKA
The NIERIKA collection starts from the encounter between Huichol spirituality and César Manrique’s gaze on Lanzarote: two ways of understanding nature as a sacred space. From there, it imagines a contemporary tribe that lives for and from the earth: they work the fields, live alongside animals and close each day with a ritual of gratitude. It is an inward-looking perspective, in line with the introspective universe of EAFTIMOS.
The collection lines are built around rural workwear: work jackets, striped shirts, reworked denim trousers and field tailoring pieces are combined in layers, playing with proportions between oversized volumes and cleaner, more fitted cuts. The palette moves between volcanic blacks, crop greens, warm ambers and ritual reds.
Craft is the central axis: handcrafted leather boots, shamanic jewellery in steel and silver, scarves with a custom print derived from the collection’s symbol and magnetic metal fastenings that act as the functional signature of the collection. The 16 looks –10 menswear and 6 womenswear– build the uniform of this tribe, where every garment is designed to inhabit both the physical landscape and the inner landscape.
