About Bonet
Ismael Aguilar Bonet was born on April 7, 1998, in Ibiza. He has always had a strong passion for fashion and art. Although he has also explored disciplines such as photography, video, and design in general, the decision to study fashion was an obvious choice for him when deciding his professional path.
His brand was born in 2021 as a final project for his studies but became official in mid-2022. From the beginning, Ismael has drawn inspiration from Ibiza, his maternal family’s island and his sisters, as well as femininity, music, and audiovisual art.
When creating a collection, he always keeps in mind the story he wants to tell, who the protagonist would be, and how they would feel wearing his designs. This narrative and emotional approach is reflected in every one of his works.

I maintain elements that I already consider part of my signature language: mesh, faux leather, buckles as a recurring motif, mini silhouettes, the use of draping (moulage), and intuition as a method to bring many of the pieces to life. Still, on this occasion, I aim to delve deeper into a more traditional technique to achieve more intentional results. I put strass and intricate embroidery in the background, although they still appear in some looks, and I focus on more minimalist and sober silhouettes across the collection.
As in the previous collection, I continue to incorporate new techniques and materials I have experimented with over the past year, thanks to my ongoing work designing and crafting looks for musical artists.
In contrast to the more pop and almost saccharine aesthetic of the previous collection, this proposal takes a direction that seeks to pick up from the conclusion of the last collection and explore that more punk, yet feminine facet, which now becomes the central axis of the project.
