Terms and conditions of participation

All companies that are direct exhibitors at GUEXT 2026 and that request the inclusion of their products or services in GUEXT Innovación, in accordance with the established procedure, may participate.

In the event that the product or service presented has been manufactured, developed or patented by a company other than the exhibitor, it will be necessary to provide express written authorization from that company.

Characteristics of the products and/or services presented

  • They must be exhibited at GUEXT 2026.
  • They must have been marketed in Spain after October 21, 2024.

For the purposes of GUEXT Innovación, a product is considered novel insofar as it is new in relation to the state of the art, defined as the level of development existing up to the last edition of GUEXT.

A product will be considered novel when it introduces significant differences compared to solutions already marketed, providing advantages in terms of:

  • Technical (new functionalities, substantial performance improvements or integration of functions in a non-obvious way)
  • Construction (optimization of assembly, reduction of components, ease of installation)
  • Economic (optimization of manufacturing or operating costs)

The solution presented must be oriented to the hospitality sector, specifically to one of the target sectors of GUEXT 2026.

The applicant company must indicate the sector that best fits the product or service presented:

Equipment and Foodservice, Tableware, Hospitality, Interiors & design, Tech & Digital, Coffee, tea & Bakery experience, Delivery & Packaging, Wellness & Spa.

Participation procedure

The registration of each application will be carried out through the corresponding form, along with payment of the established fee.

The documentation for each candidate product must be submitted through the form, indicating the corresponding exhibiting company.

Each Product Presentation Form must clearly describe:

  • The innovative nature of the product
  • The added value it provides
  • The commercial name of the product
  • The sector to which it belongs

Each form must be accompanied by descriptive material (printed, audiovisual or digital), in Spanish or with a translation into Spanish if it is in another language.

The physical product should not be sent. The submitted material will not be returned.

It will be essential to clearly indicate what the innovation consists of and the date of start of commercialization.

Payment of the registration fee

A fee of 300€ + VAT * per registered product is established, mandatory and non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the selection process.

*Companies established in Spanish territory (excluding the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla): 10% VAT not included. For other companies, this transaction is not subject to Spanish VAT. In the case of companies in the European Union, the exhibitor will be responsible for any VAT that may be due in their country of establishment.

Each exhibitor may submit several products or services through independent applications, provided that each one meets the established requirements. One single proposal must be submitted per sheet.

The same product or service may only be submitted once within the same sector.

If the documentation is submitted in a language other than Spanish, it must be accompanied by its corresponding translation.

Documents to be submitted

  • EU Declaration of Conformity and supporting documentation for CE marking, where applicable
  • Technical description of the product, including images and graphic material
  • Document certifying the date of first commercialization in Spain
  • Awards or recognitions obtained
