Fruit Attraction recognises innovation in the fruit and vegetable industry with the presentation of its Innovation Hub Awards
UNICA, POLYFLY and AIMPLAS were the respective winners in the categories of Fresh Produce; F&V Industry; and Sustainability and Commitment.
Fruit Attraction, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, today presented the 2026 Innovation Hub Awards, a set of awards that recognise the most innovative proposals in the fruit and vegetable industry and highlight the efforts of companies to develop distinctive solutions in terms of product, sustainability and technology applied to the industry.
In the F&V Industry category, the award went to POLYFLY (stand 9G24A) for Polyfly: Pollinating Hoverflies
For its part, AIMPLAS (stand 5B14C) was the winner in the Sustainability and Commitment category for its project Del olivo al mercado: separadores compostables para aceite premium a partir de restos de poda del olivar (From the olive tree to the market: compostable dividers for premium olive oil made from olive pruning residue).
Each of the award-winning projects received a cash prize of 2,000 euros, as well as recognition from Fruit Attraction as leaders in innovation within the fruit and vegetable value chain.
With the presentation of the Innovation Hub Awards, Fruit Attraction is now entering the final day of its 18th edition. Over the course of three days, the trade fair has once again transformed Madrid into the leading hub for business, innovation and knowledge in the international fruit and vegetable industry, consolidating its position as one of the industry’s major global events.
