FRUKLAS, producers and distributors of fruit and vegetables
FRUKLAS is located in the Alicante region of Medio Vinalopó, the region of origin of two out of every three table grapes consumed on New Year's Eve in Spain.
"Between our own production and that of our collaborators, we exceed 2,000 tonnes per season with the Vinalopó Protected Designation of Origin, that is to say, cultivated solely in the territory comprising the municipalities of Aspe, Novelda, Hondón de las Nieves, Hondón de los Frailes, Monforte del Cid, Agost and La Romana.
The current grape production not only maintains traditional varieties with seeds, such as Aledo, Victoria, Red Globe, Doña Maria... but we have also increased our production volume of seedless grapes with club varieties such as Aumtumn King and Princess, the main ones.
Of the rest of the fruit and vegetables that FRUKLAS distributes and grows (stone fruit, artichokes, peppers, aubergines, tomatoes, apricots, watermelon, melon, pears, apples, potatoes, cherries, kiwi, tropical fruit...) it manages to move around 7,000 tonnes a year.
Its commercial brands include VITALIS, KSI terre, ANBEL GOLD and FRUKLAS.
From its distribution centre in Mercalicante, FRUKLAS manages both national and international sales, as well as imports, covering all distribution channels: traditional market, large-scale distribution, export, etc. We focus our exports on European countries and North America, with Italy, France, Germany and Canada being the most frequent destinations. But we also develop an expansion work in Nordic countries and Eastern Europe.
