Zetapack, a solution for your packaging

Zetapack's AGV50 weigher was born, in fact, from the idea of making the business as easy as possible, providing a versatile solution that can work with different types of vegetables (from tomatoes in bunches, to zucchinis, eggplants, fennels and similar), while ensuring precision in weight and delicacy in the handling of the products.

As in previous years, Zetapack is one of the exhibitors at the Fruit Attraction trade fair in Madrid. Zetapack explains that participating in fairs of this type is an important opportunity to expose new technologies and interact with old and new knowledge. It will be possible to see at the Italian company's stand its new solution for weighing baskets with guaranteed minimum weight. The machine is part of the AGV50 range that Zetapack presented in the last months of 2024, arousing great interest both in the Italian and foreign markets.

The reason for this success is due to the fact that nowadays it is increasingly important for companies to minimize any excess weight, avoiding giving away several grams per package. With this objective in mind, Zetapack has decided to develop this new solution. The AGV50 weigher was born, in fact, from the idea of making companies as easy as possible, providing a versatile solution that can work with different types of vegetables (from tomatoes in bunches, to zucchini, eggplants, fennel and similar), while ensuring weight accuracy and delicacy in the handling of the products.

The system consists of a checkweigher that registers the passage of each pre-filled container. Once weighed, the basket advances to the 18 weighing cups, which will search for the best available combination to reach the set weight. In this way it will be possible to work at a speed of 35/45 baskets per minute (depending on the product used), with the use of 2/3 operators.

Another advantage to be highlighted is the reduced size of the machine body, which develops in length by 5 meters and in width by 1 meter. The possibility of adding wheels under the structure of the machine, will make even easier the positioning inside any warehouse.
