Veganic Presents: MicroGea® Technology

 These strains, discovered and characterised by its R&D team, are registered in the prestigious Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT) under certificates CECT 31207 and 31208. Globally protected strains include Bacillus subtilis VE1722, Bacillus atrophaeus VE0706, Bacillus halotolerans VN323 and Bacillus megaterium VN324.

MicroGea® is designed to optimise Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE), reducing the need for traditional mineral fertilisers such as NPK. Its application throughout the crop cycle improves microbiota, promotes soil health and maximises agricultural productivity. This technology allows maximum use of the nutrients present in the soil and those applied during cultivation, promoting a living and balanced soil.

The MicroGea® formulation represents a breakthrough in biofertilisation and bioprotection, incorporating biological engineering, sequencing and genetic characterisation. It is based on customised microbial consortia composed of rhizobacteria (PGPR), lactic acid bacteria and active metabolites. This combination favours the balance of the microbiome, improves nutrient uptake and strengthens plant resistance to different types of abiotic and biotic stresses. Its main characteristics include its immediate effect thanks to the active metabolites, high compatibility with liquid and solid formulations, 100% renewable nature (no synthetic or organic fertilisers), a manufacturing process that avoids cross-contamination and a high concentration with a broad spectrum of action.

MicroGea® is applied in four biofertilisers registered as organic in the European Union:

1. Vitagea PREBOOR: solid biofertiliser for intensive crops, with Bacillus megaterium, which fixes nitrogen and solubilises phosphorus and potassium.
2. Vitagea HAZOOR: solid with Bacillus halotolerans, ideal for soils poor in organic matter, improves nutrient absorption.
3. Vitagea CAPTOOR: liquid with Bacillus megaterium, Pseudomonas fluorescens and Azotobacter vinelandii, improves tolerance to adverse conditions.

4.Vitagea REGESOOR: liquid with seven rhizobacteria, regenerates degraded soils and reduces the absorption of heavy metals.
