This vision is embodied in two complementary initiatives: NeoPrime®, the technology behind Plant Primers, and Veganic Food Care.
Plants have an extraordinary ability to perceive their environment, interpret signals and activate their own natural mechanisms. With NeoPrime®, Veganic studies this “plant alphabet” to develop Plant Primers capable of preparing plants before a challenge arises. Its approach represents a paradigm shift: rather than protecting the plant for it, the aim is to train it to protect itself more effectively.
Plant Primers provide biological information that enables crops to activate specific metabolic, hormonal and genetic pathways more quickly and efficiently when needed, promoting plants that are more prepared, balanced and resilient.
This innovation extends beyond the crop with Veganic Food Care, a model that connects farmers, distributors and supermarkets through customised programmes focused on biological control, Integrated Pest Management, soil health and agricultural microbiota.
The objective is clear: to produce more and better while using fewer synthetic chemical products, reducing residues and commercial risks while simultaneously improving traceability, sustainability and profitability.
In a programme developed on snack cucumber crops in Almería, Veganic achieved a 55% reduction in the use of synthetic chemical products, ten times fewer residues at harvest, and a 13% increase in production, while generating a positive economic return for the farmer.
