TIMAC AGRO presents concrete, real and measurable commitments to sustainability, within the framework of Plan Armony 2030. A new commitment that puts innovation at the service of sustainability: economic, social and environmental.

‘Our priority is to innovate in order to be increasingly sustainable in all areas,’ the plant and animal nutrition company states. To do this, ‘we will not only innovate in the entire production process, but also in the way the company operates, achieving ambitious objectives such as the neutrality of emissions derived from our activity’. All of this, of course, ‘without diverting the focus from people’, they explain. And they stress: ‘The idea is to offer a sustainable response to live in harmony with our environment, understanding that we have a responsibility towards the future of the agricultural and livestock sector, and of the planet’.

Three areas of action: Product, Environment and People

The Armony Plan 2030 commitments, which will be implemented between now and 2030, cover three areas of action: Product, Environment and People.

Product:

In terms of the product, TIMAC AGRO is committed to continue launching efficient solutions on the market, valuing their impact on biodiversity. To do so, it will use cutting-edge technologies and increase the use of organic and circular raw materials. All this, with innovation in packaging, to improve its usability, reduce its impact and increase its recyclability and reusability. In addition, the company will provide information on the impact of all its products, verified by independent certifying bodies.

Finally, it will continue to promote advice on the optimal use of its solutions through continuous training and the use of new technologies, through its network of agronomists and veterinarians.

Environment:

TIMAC AGRO is committed to achieving CO2e emission neutrality from its business activity (scopes 1 and 2) by 2030. In addition, it will reduce CO2e emissions generated by raw materials, transport and use of its products in the field by 10% (scope 3) by 2030. It will also continue with its good water reuse practices, maintaining zero discharge of industrial water at its Lodosa factory.

People:

Aware that people are the driving force for change in order to live in harmony with the environment, the ultimate goal of Plan Armony 2030, TIMAC AGRO is committed to working only with responsible entities that demonstrate a corporate culture in line with its values. It will also continue to develop the talent of its teams, promoting employment and knowledge sharing, as well as carrying out training and awareness campaigns for a culture of safety and prevention at its industrial sites.

"It is all about doing better every day, so that everything we do has the best possible impact. And that means continuing to offer innovative solutions that generate sustainable benefits, both for farmers and livestock farmers, as well as for the rest of society," the company concludes.
