SACOJE, Artisans of the Natural
We were founded in 1988 in La Hoya, Lorca, when a group of small-scale farmers from the Guadalentín Valley decided to join forces with a shared vision: to produce quality fruit and vegetables while respecting the land.
What began with 300 hectares has grown into a leading European cooperative with over 2,000 hectares of crops, enabling us to supply the market year-round without interruption.
Europe’s leading BIMI® producers
Since introducing BIMI® to our fields in the Guadalentín Valley in 2016, we knew we had something special. Today, we cultivate over 120 hectares of this vegetable—grown stalk by stalk, by hand, and with the same artisanal care that defines everything we do.
Our products: from the field to European store shelves
Bimi is our flagship product, but our range extends far beyond that. We produce and market broccoli, lettuce, melons, watermelons, cauliflower, and cabbages, among other products, alongside a growing organic line. We are committed to healthy eating because we believe consumers deserve to know exactly where their food comes from.
Certified quality, global reach
We export nearly 90% of our produce to over 12 countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Ireland, and the Nordic nations. We hold the industry's most rigorous international certifications—a testament to our unwavering commitment to food safety and traceability at every stage of the process.
We continue to move forward with a clear vision: preserving the artisanal essence of our origins while building an agricultural model that is more efficient, sustainable, and future-oriented.
