The Rizzi company, based in South Tyrol (Italy), has a solid track record in the fruit and vegetable sector that began in 1978.
Since its beginnings, it has established itself as a strategic partner in the marketing of fresh fruit and vegetables at national and international level. Over the years, Rizzi has cultivated strong links with the agri-food industry, focusing especially on the supply of fresh vegetables for processing. In 2018, a decisive step was taken with the creation of a specific business unit dedicated to the production of lettuces for the fresh-cut sector. This division enabled specialisation geared to the requirements of the industry and the development of crops adapted to the standards of the European market.
Thanks to a well-defined expansion strategy, 2019 saw the start of production in Italy, becoming a key point for ensuring the variety of supply and expanding supply in the face of sector demand, with the collaboration of local agricultural partners, providing technical expertise and commitment to quality.

Today, Rizzi is one of the few companies in Europe to offer a complete range of lettuces produced in-house, designed exclusively for the fresh-cut channel and continuously available thanks to our transnational operations.
