Quantified Sensor Technology develops wireless sensor solutions that enable real-time monitoring of growing medium conditions, drainage and climate. The solutions are designed for the grower’s day-to-day work and help track fertigation performance across the entire farm. Furthermore, the data can also be viewed in real time on leading climate control systems and growing platforms.
Smart Gutter
For soft fruits, we have developed the “Smart Trough”, a solution that continuously measures the weight of the growing medium and, in the drainage system, both the volume and the EC. This provides you with constant information on water uptake, drainage behaviour and plant activity. It is already being used by growers such as Bosch Growers, Zeleni Hit and BerryPlasma to support fertigation decisions, improve uniformity across different areas and optimise the use of water and nutrients.
