MEHADRIN is the largest producer and exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables in Israel with approximatively 3500 hectares. We do avocados, mandarines, grapefruits, dates, pomegranates, litchis, sweet potatoes, mangoes.
To leverage our agronomical knowhow into a year round supply we did investments in different countries ; and we are now fully implanted in Morocco with 500 hectares of plantation and in Peru with 200 hectares of plantation.
75% of the group sales are destined to Europe market
75% of the group sales are destined to Europe market and for that we have established local offices in : France, Holland, Switzerland, Uk, Sweden. Those offices deals with ripening, grading and packing.
We promote responsible and sustainable agriculture in all our farms, respecting social and environmental values. That means :
- respect for environmental certifications,
- integrated pesticide management methods,
- energy efficiency,
- production of renewable energy,
- The group supplies water to crops owned by the group, and to external customers, mostly for irrigation, from wells owned by the group, external sources and from the Israeli water company,
- The group owns land and properties that are currently leased out to 3 party customers for the use of storages, offices, communication etc. The group holds around 44,500 m 2 of yielding assets, most of these are utilised by the group own use and 3,800 m 2 leas
