Medifer presents Gourmed Liquids
Medifer (Constantino Gutiérrez S.A.) is an Alicante-based company with a 53-year history, dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of fertilisers and biostimulants for the agricultural sector
Founded and managed by two entrepreneurial families – the Barrera and Gutiérrez families – the company has now become the Medifer Group and has established itself as one of the leading companies in the fertiliser and biostimulant sector nationwide.
At this year’s Fruit Attraction, Medifer is focusing on its most innovative and strategic product line: Gourmed Liquids, a range of high-tech liquid biostimulants designed to provide precise, effective and sustainable solutions to the agronomic challenges faced by farmers at every stage of the crop cycle.
Gourmed Liquids was created with a clear purpose: to support crops throughout their entire phenological cycle with specific solutions, formulated to optimise their development, improve their yield and help them overcome stressful conditions. It is a comprehensive range comprising 10 products.
The first seven products are biostimulants that cover the entire phenological cycle: Gourmed No. 1 Rooting, a root system biostimulant; Gourmed No. 2 Growth, a growth activator; Gourmed No. 3 Flora, a flowering enhancer; Gourmed No. 4 Algae, to aid fruit set and help plants overcome periods of stress; Gourmed No. 5 Sizing, a crop thickening enhancer; Gourmed No. 6 Ca-B Complex, which prevents and corrects the onset of physiological disorders; and Gourmed No. 7 Excellence, a quality and ripening process enhancer.
Gourmed No. 8 Reactive acts as a premium activator and soil enhancer, whilst Gourmed No. 9 Triplex complements any treatment thanks to its facilitating action, increasing the efficiency of applications. The range is completed by Gourmed No. 10 Power, a biostimulant designed to prevent, protect and help crops recover from abiotic stress caused by factors such as drought, cold, heat or salinity – the main cause of a large proportion of global agricultural losses.
